Testing my fuel pump for best delivery
My setup included a couple hoses and a two liter bottle filled with water/alcohol mix.
Pump was adjusted to provide best fuel delivery with minimum effort, sort of a clunk..clunk...clunk every couple seconds
I got a new (rebuilt) Swingfire and Turboheizer (turboheater) from Chris McPhee to use to heat my small shop. I used one of the old racks from the Radio van to set it up outside my shop. I cut two holes and mounted 6" through ducts for the hot air and return air. I used aluminum flex hose on the ducts.
I slipped a six inch coupler duct under the foam gasket on the air intake of the TurboHeizer and taped it in place with aluminum tape to secure it. I also added a duct to the hot air outlet .
I fired up the Swingfire on 12 volts on my shop floor as a test. Man that output tube heated up to a red glow within a minute!
