Oh, I'm also bringing charcoal to cook some stumps!

Trip Follow up.

Well, using charcoal to burn stumps might be fine if it's only a few inches in diameter. We used several bags of the stuff and only made a dent in the big one. Then it was decided to just build a regular fire on top of the stumps with the fire ring. That also didn't do much but more time is needed. The advantage to this was a shorter walk to the beer coolers!

It rained Thursday afternoon off and on and some Friday night and Saturday evening. Not a total washout but enough to keep the well full and spring running and the trees wet.

I modified the ram pump a little to make it run on low water supply by shortening the stroke of the main valve. It worked well again after that. Elmo, Tom and John (Smitty) cut the grass, I installed another outlet upstairs on the wall near the window next to the coal shanty side. Mike and I used our two battery powered fans to help cool the upstairs a little.

I ran my generator most of the time except for a test run on Mike's auxiliary fuel tank setup.

Somehow Mike got permission to bring his wife's new ride!

It was a quiet time except for the toilet bowl cleaner bombs Tom and John kept blowing up! The local bird population is severely traumatized now!
